Job summary

SCT Logistics in New South Wales is seeking a vigilant, safety‑conscious driver to operate heavy vehicles across our national intermodal network. The role emphasizes compliance with NSW road and vehicle regulations and reliable, safe operations within our end‑to‑end logistics platform.

You will hold HC or MC licences, maintain a strong driving record, and apply fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility principles in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will hold an HC or MC licence and a good driving record.
• Familiarity with Heavy Vehicle National Law and related regulations.
• Knowledge of local NSW areas and safety/compliance practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment as per all applicable laws in NSW including the Heavy Vehicle National Law & Regulations.
• Use of MT Data as per instructions.
• Use of Onboard Mass Systems as per instructions.
• Maintain a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Adhere to instructions for alternative redeployment tasks during mill stoppages.
• Comply with the conditions of entry at all mill sites, pads and business premises.
• Meet agreed timeframes by complying with statutory fatigue breaks, including the co-ordination of fatigue breaks where necessary.
