Job summary

SCT Logistics in New South Wales is seeking a qualified heavy vehicle driver to operate equipment in accordance with NSW Heavy Vehicle National Law and site rules. An HC or MC licence and a strong safety record are essential.

You will work across our national intermodal network, using MT Data and Onboard Mass Systems, and comply with fatigue management and entry conditions at mill sites. SCT offers development opportunities, recognition programs, flexible working arrangements, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• HC or MC licence required.
• Clean driving record essential.
• Strong literacy and workplace skills.
• Knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law.
• Local area knowledge advantageous.
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility.
• Experience with Onboard Mass Systems.
• Experience with MT Data systems.
• Familiarity with fatigue management regulations.
• Chain of Responsibility training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely under NSW laws and site rules.
• Use MT Data and Onboard Mass Systems as instructed.
• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks.
• Coordinate redeployment tasks during stoppages when required.
• Comply with entry conditions at mills, pads and premises.
• Meet deadlines while observing fatigue breaks and rest requirements.

Job Description

Reporting to The Supervisor, the positionincludes the following responsibilities:

• Operate equipment as per all applicable laws in NSW including the Heavy Vehicle National Law & Regulations
• Use of MT Data as per instructions
• Use of Onboard Mass Systems as per instructions
• Have a strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Adhere to instructions for alternative redeployment tasks during mill stoppages
• Comply with the conditions of entry at all mill sites, pads and business premises
• Meet agreed timeframes by complying with statutory fatigue breaks, including the co-ordination of fatigue breaks where necessary
