Job summary

Coastal Transport Services in Warnervale NSW is seeking experienced HC/MC drivers for day, afternoon/night, and float shifts across varied transport tasks. You will perform vehicle checks, load restraining, and timely deliveries, while communicating with operations to optimise schedules and maintain safety.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi-Combination (MC) licence with on‑road experience.
• CV/C6 licence and crane experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience securing and restraining loads with knowledge of load restraint requirements.
• Strong focus on road safety and transport regulations.
• Reliable, professional with good communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials.
• Carry out pre-start inspections and report mechanical defects.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Deliver goods on time and ensure items are in good condition.
• Coordinate with operations to support scheduling and delivery outcomes.

Full-time | Monday-Friday with OT

1 x HC Driver- Day shift

1 x HC Driver- Afternoon/night shift

1 x HC/MC Driver, Float position.
Working across various scopes of work..no two days will be the same!

What you'll be doing

Safely operate heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials in line with company and regulatory requirements

Conduct pre-start and routine vehicle inspections, identifying and reporting any mechanical defects in accordance with company policy

Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation to ensure full compliance with relevant regulations

Deliver goods to customers on time, ensuring all items are handled and presented in excellent condition

Communicate effectively with operations teams to support efficient scheduling and delivery outcomes

Comply with all safety, compliance, and company policies, maintaining a strong focus on safe work practices at all times

What we're looking for

Hold a current Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi-Combination (MC) Licence with on-road experience

CV/C6 License and crane experience (advantageous but not essential)

Demonstrated experience securing and restraining loads, with a strong understanding of load restraint requirements and safe transport practices – essential

Strong focus and knowledge of road safety and transport regulations

Reliable and professional, with strong communication and time management skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to meet delivery schedules and promptly communicate any delays or issues.

Ability to pass mandatory drug & alcohol testing, fitness for duty/driving medical

Applicants must be able to provide a current driving record issued by Service NSW.
