Job summary

HGR Haulage, based in Prospect, NSW, seeks an experienced MC Licensed Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. You will operate refrigerated pantechs and tautliners, delivering products with a focus on safety and reliability.

Requirements include a current MC licence, a minimum of 3 years driving B Doubles in Sydney Metro, regional and interstate routes, and the ability to start early (1am–6am) with weekend work available.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cargo safely, securing loads to prevent damage and ensure road safety.
• Adhere to fatigue management regulations and work hour limitations.
• Report vehicle defects, maintenance issues, and incidents promptly to management.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance and conduct yourself in accordance with company standards.

HGR Haulage is seeking an experienced MC Licenced Driver to join our growing team on a full-time basis. Based in Prospect, NSW 2148. As a driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering our customers products, maintaining our reputation for a reliable delivery service. The MC driving role utilises refrigerated pantechs, and tautliners. You will be driving a late model prime movers

Key responsibilities

Operate our vehicles in compliance with all road safety regulations and company policies

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working order

Maintain accurate logbooks (EWD) and documentation, including delivery dockets, timesheets, and vehicle maintenance records

Load and unload cargo safely, securing loads appropriately to prevent damage and ensure road safety

Adhere to fatigue management regulations and work hour limitations

Report vehicle defects, maintenance issues, and any incidents promptly to management

Maintain a clean and professional appearance and conduct yourself in accordance with company standards

About you

Current and valid MC driver's licence appropriate to the role requirements

Must be able to start early if required. We have work starting at 1am - 6am, and later. Weekend work is also available

Minimum 3 years' experience driving B Doubles in Sydney Metro, Regional, and Interstate

Good driving record

Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers

Ability to work independently

Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work with a strong work ethic

Demonstrated ability to conduct basic vehicle maintenance checks and report issues accurately

Be able to pass onsite Drug & Alcohol testing

Flexible approach to daily allocated tasks. HC work will be required but still paid as MC

MSIC card a bonus or willingness to obtain one (HGR will pay for it)
