Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience in planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.

Responsibilities

• The role focuses on planning, preparation and teaching of programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
• Gains experience and contributes to the school program beyond the classroom with increased responsibility as experience grows.
• Direct teaching of groups and individuals; contribute to curriculum development and school priorities.
• Undertaking other duties as determined by the principal; participate in meetings and school activities.
