• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum with the ability to integrate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning and implementing high-impact teaching strategies, guided by student learning.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform teaching.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students with a focus on achieving specific outcomes.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching duties and organisational tasks as needed.
• Engage in activities such as parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Supervise and mentor student teachers where appropriate.
