• SC1: Knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy teaching; respond to student learning needs.
• SC2: Planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies; evaluate impact on student growth.
• SC3: Monitoring and assessing learning; using data to inform teaching and provide feedback.
• SC4: Interpersonal and communication skills; collaborate with students, parents, colleagues and community.
• SC5: Behaviours and attitudes aligned with Department values; reflect and engage in professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to curriculum development, implementation and evaluation.
• Undertake other teaching and organisational duties as directed by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other non-teaching supervisory duties.
