Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum.
• Ability to plan for and implement high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience in monitoring and assessing student learning using data.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values and commitment to professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contributing to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum program.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related duties as determined by the Principal.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
