Job summary

Matrix Education in Australia is seeking an inspirational leader to oversee teaching quality, student outcomes and staff development across a faculty. You will observe lessons, coach teachers and drive interventions to lift results.

You’ll own teaching quality, student outcomes and staff development across your cohort, reporting to the Mathematics Faculty Lead, with six teaching hours weekly to stay connected to the classroom and the student experience. Weekend work is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven teaching track record in HSC, VCE or Primary curriculum, with credibility among educators.
• Genuine appetite for developing others and giving impactful feedback.
• Comfortable using LMS platforms, spreadsheets and reporting tools to track observations and student progress.

Responsibilities

• Teach at least six hours a week, modelling the standard you're coaching to.
• Run regular classroom observations across campuses and track development for casual teachers.
• Deliver practical, one-on-one coaching to improve lesson pacing and student engagement.
• Screen and onboard new casual teachers and maintain a high-trust presence.
• Assist in planning structural changes to academic products and support enrolment targets.
