Qualifications

• SC1: Knowledge of the relevant curriculum with literacy/numeracy integration and responding to student learning needs.
• SC2: Planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating impact.
• SC3: Monitoring and assessing student learning; using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• SC4: Interpersonal/communication skills; building collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and community.
• SC5: Behaviours aligned with Department values; reflect on practice and engage in professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals; contribute to curriculum program development.
• Undertake other teaching-related duties as required by the principal.
• Model exemplary practice and mentor other teachers to reflect on practice.
• Supervise and train student teachers where appropriate.
• Utilise student data to inform teaching approaches and meet targets.
