Job summary

The City of Whittlesea is seeking a Maternal and Child Health Customer Liaison Officer to support the delivery of a high-quality service. You will manage bookings, respond to enquiries and work with the MCH Leadership team to coordinate staff.

This part-time, hybrid role offers a pro-rata, band 5 salary of AU$83,000–87,000 per annum plus superannuation, flexible working arrangements and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, administration, data entry and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritise competing demands and meet timeframes.
• Experience in community services and/or Local Government preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Manage appointment bookings and respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and online systems (Salesforce).
• Administrative tasks including the processing of Birth Notices and managing staff rosters.
• Handle enquiries from MCH Nurses, residents, hospitals and other relevant agencies.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of centre diaries, balancing staff schedules with service delivery.
• Manage MCH distribution needs including servicing of equipment.
• Work with the MCH Leadership team to allocate shifts and manage staff absences.
• Process and monitor facility maintenance requests.
