Job summary

CAPDA Consulting seeks an experienced Master Scheduler to lead the master program schedule for a significant government program. You will ensure coordinated planning, monitoring and reporting across multiple streams, working with stakeholders and senior leaders to drive on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes governance, delivery oversight and executive reporting, with a focus on continuous improvement of scheduling processes and controls. Onsite in Canberra, eligible for NV1 clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex program or portfolio schedules.
• Strong analytical skills including critical path analysis and schedule monitoring.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, Azure DevOps).
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience preparing executive reports and dashboards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the master schedule.
• Coordinate schedules, milestones, dependencies and critical path activities across multiple streams.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain accurate scheduling information.
• Monitor performance against timelines, identify risks and impacts.
• Analyse schedule data and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare reports, briefs and governance documentation for executives.
• Support program reporting and provide timely analysis on progress.
• Drive continuous improvement of scheduling processes and controls.
• Provide specialist scheduling guidance across the program environment.
• Apply quality assurance to reports and correspondence.
