Job summary

Randstad is seeking a Master Scheduler for a 3-6 month contract to lead the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for a high-impact digital transformation program. Based in Australia, you will consolidate complex project schedules, identify critical paths, and provide forecasting that informs executive decisions.

You will work within the PMO to standardize scheduling practices, manage dependencies, and contribute to governance forums with data-driven insights and actionable metrics.

Master Scheduler is currently required for a 3- 6 months contract to join a high-impact digital transformation program. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and assuring the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to support enterprise-wide transparency and effective program governance. Working within the Program Management Office (PMO), you will act as the single source of truth for program scheduling, providing critical path analysis and forecasting that directly supports executive decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Integrated Planning: Consolidate complex project and workstream schedules into a unified, end-to-end program view, ensuring alignment with scope, milestones, and strategic objectives.
• Dependency Management: Map and manage inter-project dependencies, perform critical path analysis, and proactively identify delivery risks or resource constraints.
• Governance & Reporting: Support program governance forums with schedule insights, performance metrics, and executive-level forecasting.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Program Managers, technology teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders to drive consistent scheduling disciplines and realistic delivery commitments.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion best-practice scheduling techniques and develop templates and governance artefacts to lift planning maturity across the portfolio.

To be successful in this position you must be a highly experienced Master Scheduler who has developed master schedules for large and complex transformation programs. You will also have solid experience in the following:

• Tools Proficiency: Advanced skills in enterprise scheduling tools, specifically Microsoft Project, with proficiency in tools such as Project Online, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, and Jira Advanced Roadmaps.
• Analytical Ability: A strong aptitude for identifying trends, bottlenecks, and delivery impacts, with a sharp focus on detail and strategic outcomes.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate workshops, and translate complex data into actionable executive insights.
