Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial bakery
• Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation and baking techniques
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead and shape dough for a wide range of bread and specialty products
• Bake products according to recipes, ensuring quality and presentation
• Monitor fermentation, proofing and oven temperatures for optimal results
• Keep baked goods fresh, appealing and ready for display
• Maintain hygiene and a clean work environment according to food safety standards
• Assist with stock control, ingredient ordering and inventory management
• Work with team to meet daily production and sales targets
• Support product merchandising and in-store displays
