Qualifications

• Relevant baking qualification or 2–3 years’ bakery experience.
• Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation and baking techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in high-volume environment.
• Flexible to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead and shape dough for a wide range of bread and specialty products.
• Bake products in accordance with recipes ensuring consistency, quality and presentation.
• Monitor fermentation and oven temperatures for optimal results.
• Ensure baked goods are fresh, attractive and ready for display.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic work environment in line with food safety regulations.
• Assist with stock control, ingredient ordering and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production and sales targets.
• Support product merchandising and maintain in-store displays.
