Bakers Delight Brookside in Brisbane is seeking a dedicated baking professional to join our fast-paced retail bakery team. You will produce high-quality breads and pastries, follow recipes, and contribute to a clean, hygienic shop floor.

This full-time role requires baking qualification or 2–3 years in a commercial bakery, strong dough skills, time management, and the ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in baking or a minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a commercial bakery
• Strong knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in a high-volume environment
• Strong time management skills with flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, and shape dough for a wide range of bread and specialty products
• Bake products in accordance with recipes, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards
• Monitor fermentation, proofing, and oven temperatures to achieve optimal baking results
• Ensure all baked goods are fresh, visually appealing, and ready for customer display
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment in line with food safety regulations
• Assist with stock control, ingredient ordering, and inventory management
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and sales targets
• Support product merchandising and maintain attractive in-store displays
