Job summary

Prestige Event Hire is seeking hands-on Marquee Assemblers in Geelong, Australia, to work at busy event seasons. This role involves visiting sites, building marquees, styling spaces and packing down after events. There is potential for supervisor roles for experienced candidates.

A strong safety focus and ability to work weekends are required. You will transport equipment, assemble structures, and help maintain a safe, efficient site and warehouse environment, with opportunities to travel to

Qualifications

Experience in large event marquee assembly or a similar role.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Adhere to OHS standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Load/unload and transport marquee equipment to and from event locations.
Assembly and pack down of large marquees in line with event requirements and safety standards.
Build flooring, set up furniture and stage marquee space onsite in line with the client’s brief.
Post event, clean, repair and store equipment ready for the next event.
Assist with keeping a clean and organised warehouse to prevent hazards and encourage smooth daily operations.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures whilst in the warehouse and out on site.
