Job summary

Elderberry Event Hire Pty Ltd in Geelong, VIC is seeking a motivated Marquee & Event Setup Supervisor / Leading Hand to join our hands-on team. You will set up and dismantle marquees and event flooring, install lighting and furniture, and help organise the crew and daily workload on site.

This permanent full-time role offers a 9-day fortnight and opportunities to lead more jobs as you grow. Pay ranges from $32 to $45 per hour plus super, with training provided and a drive license essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, practical worker with ability to lift heavy equipment.
• Reliable, good work ethic and team player.
• Willing to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
• Current driver’s license is essential.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and dismantling marquees and event flooring.
• Installing lighting, furniture and equipment to site plans using hand and power tools.
• Helping organise the crew and day’s workload.
• Loading, unloading and storing equipment.
• Working to OH&S standards and venue-specific requirements.
• Maintaining quality, presentation and timelines.
• Working with clients and venues following site plans.
