Job summary

Elderberry Event Hire Pty Ltd in Geelong, VIC is seeking a motivated Marquee & Event Setup Supervisor / Leading Hand to join our hands-on team. You will set up and dismantle marquees and event flooring, install lighting and furniture, and help organise the crew and daily workload on site.

This permanent full-time role offers a 9-day fortnight and opportunities to lead more jobs as you grow. Pay ranges from $32 to $45 per hour plus super, with training provided and a drive license essential.

Elderberry Event Hire Pty Ltd - Geelong VIC

Elderberry Event Hire is looking for a motivated Marquee & Event Setup Supervisor / Leading Hand to join our growing team in Geelong.

You'll work alongside our crew setting up and packing down events, while helping keep the team organised and the job moving.

Marquee or event experience will be highly regarded, but isn't essential. If you're practical, a strong worker and have experience in construction, landscaping, trades, logistics or another hands-on industry, we're happy to provide training for the right person.

It's a hands-on role first and foremost, with the opportunity to take the lead on more jobs as your experience and confidence grow.

What you'll be doing

About you

We're looking for someone who:

Enjoys practical, hands-on work and is able to lift heavy equipment

Is reliable and has a good work ethic

Works well as part of a team

Can think on their feet and solve problems

Is willing to learn and take on more responsibility over time

Has the potential to lead by example

A current driver's licence is essential.

Experience with trailers, trucks, forklifts, machinery, power tools or event equipment would be a bonus.

Experience is important to us, but the right person is more important than having the perfect résumé.
