Job description

Valiram is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead marketing, communications, public relations and brand-building activities for Läderach Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands‑on marketing professional with a passion for premium retail and customer experiences. You will develop campaigns that strengthen Läderach's presence in the Australian market, increase brand awareness, drive customers to our boutiques and support sustainable sales growth.

Working closely with Läderach's brand representatives and Valiram's retail, digital, merchandising, inventory and finance teams, you will manage campaigns from concept through to execution and performance review.

About the Role

As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the local marketing strategy for Läderach Australia while ensuring all activities remain aligned with the brand's global identity, standards and commercial priorities.

You will manage seasonal campaigns, new product launches, boutique activations, public relations, influencer partnerships, social content and shopping-Centre marketing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy and Campaigns
  • Develop and execute the annual marketing and communications plan for Läderach Australia.
  • Translate Läderach's global marketing direction into effective campaigns for the Australian market.
  • Lead integrated campaigns across retail boutiques, digital channels, social media, public relations, events and shopping-centre platforms.
  • Coordinate seasonal campaigns, gifting occasions, product launches, promotional activities and brand activations.
  • Identify opportunities to grow brand awareness, customer engagement, boutique traffic and sales.
  • Ensure all campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, within budget and in accordance with Läderach's brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with retail and operational teams to ensure campaigns are implemented consistently across all boutiques.
Public Relations and Influencer Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, Key Opinion Leaders and relevant industry partners.
  • Coordinate media releases, product features, influencer visits, product tastings and promotional opportunities.
  • Manage product seeding, seasonal gifting, sponsorships and event invitations.
  • Develop guest lists, distribute invitations and manage RSVPs for launches and events.
  • Identify suitable paid and organic opportunities to increase positive media coverage and brand visibility.
  • Ensure all influencer, media and partnership activities reflect Läderach's premium brand positioning.
Content and Digital Marketing
  • Coordinate the development of engaging social media content and digital marketing assets.
  • Manage local website editorial content and ensure product and campaign information remains accurate and current.
  • Prepare creative briefs and liaise with digital and design teams regarding artwork, social assets and digital advertising.
  • Support e-commerce marketing initiatives and align online campaigns with boutique activities.
  • Monitor digital performance and recommend opportunities to improve reach, engagement and conversion.
Events, Partnerships and Shopping-Centre Marketing
  • Plan and coordinate boutique openings, product launches, tastings, events, pop-up activations and partnership initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with shopping-centre management and airport partners.
  • Coordinate centre-based advertising, website features, social media promotions, events and digital campaigns.
  • Explore partnerships with corporate, hospitality, lifestyle and gifting platforms that complement the Läderach brand.
  • Support boutique teams during events, influencer visits and promotional activations.
  • Attend occasional evening or weekend events when required.
Supplier and Stakeholder Management
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding boutique signage, campaign materials, packaging, production and delivery timelines.
  • Ensure all promotional materials arrive on time and comply with brand standards.
  • Coordinate with retail teams regarding promotional stock, product seeding, samples and approved marketing write-offs.
  • Work closely with Finance to process marketing-related supplier, event and shopping-centre payments.
  • Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout each campaign.
  • Regularly report campaign progress, risks, challenges and proposed solutions to leadership.
Market Research and Performance
  • Monitor competitor campaigns, product launches, events, pricing, retail activities, social media and e-commerce strategies.
  • Remain informed about premium retail, gifting and consumer trends in the Australian market.
  • Identify key trading periods, public holidays and cultural occasions relevant to chocolate, gifting and celebrations.
  • Track campaign results, boutique traffic, net sales, customer engagement and return on investment.
  • Prepare post-campaign and post-event reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Use data and customer insights to improve future marketing strategies and investment decisions.
Budget and Administration
  • Manage and monitor marketing expenditure against the approved budget.
  • Maintain an accurate marketing expense tracker.
  • Take full ownership of purchase-order creation, invoice processing and payment follow‑up.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with internal approvals, policies and Läderach brand guidelines.
  • Complete campaign, event and expenditure reports accurately and within agreed timelines.
About You

You are an organised, creative and commercially focused marketing professional who understands how to bring a premium brand to life. You enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution and can confidently manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders.

You will bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least three years’ marketing experience, preferably within premium retail, food and beverage, luxury, hospitality, beauty or lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns, events and product launches.
  • Experience working with media, influencers, public relations agencies, suppliers or shopping-centre partners.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media and content creation.
  • Sound commercial awareness and the ability to connect marketing initiatives with boutique traffic and sales.
  • Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, invoices and campaign expenditure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organisation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining premium brand standards.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.
