Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli is seeking energetic merchandisers to support the Grocery Channel across Melbourne-area supermarkets. You will build strong retailer relationships, set up POS displays, and ensure Lindt products are well-presented on shelves.

You will stock, rotate, and check shelves, while identifying opportunities to improve visibility and drive sales. A driver’s license and ability to travel locally are essential, with Wednesday/Thursday as essential availability.

Qualifications

• Interest in working in retail as a sales representative.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves and moving stock.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers in a designated territory.
• Create and set up Lindt displays and POS materials.
• Merchandise products on shelves, facing, ticketing and stock checks.
• Rotate stock, clean shelves and maintain displays.
• Identify in-store opportunities to boost brand exposure and sales.
• Support Area Manager with plan preselling and display location negotiations.
• Record promotional compliance in CRM and report insights.

About the role:

We’re looking for energetic, vibrant individuals to help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate within our Grocery Channel (Woolworths, Coles, Independents). This would cover suburbs such as Bundoora, Epping and South Morang. As a Merchandiser, you will support the Field Sales team in spreading the word about Lindt by:

• Building strong relationships with our customers in a designated territory
• Building POS (bins), to display Lindt products.
• Merchandising Lindt products at shelf e.g. Facing up, ticketing, investigating out of stocks and stocking shelves
• Stock rotation / cleaning / maintenance
• Identifying in-store display opportunities to drive increased brand exposure and sales volumes.
• Supporting your Area Manager with Preselling of the plan and negotiation of display locations
• Recording promotional compliance through CRM system
• Executing merchandising standards of excellence
• Reporting back on store and consumer insights

What you will bring:

• An interest in working in retail as a sales representative
• Confidence and commitment to work autonomously
• Ability to build strong customer relationships
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to productively plan and organise your working week
• Don’t mind getting some exercise in your day, whilst moving stock and building displays
• Ability to utilise an iPad (supplied) and associated software and apps
• Prior experience applying effective manual handling techniques
• An unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays (essential).
• Friday availability (preferred).
