Job description

Marketing Manager – Brand & Marketing
$130k -$150K NEG
Paynter Dixon | NSW, QLD, SA & ACT
Build the brand behind some of Australia’s most recognised construction projects.

Paynter Dixon is looking for an experienced and commercially minded Marketing Manager to join our Brand & Marketing team and help shape how our business is seen, understood and considered by the people who matter most.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on B2B marketer who understands that great marketing is more than campaigns and clicks — it is about building reputation, creating meaningful connections and supporting long-term business growth.

About the opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing, you will turn Paynter Dixon’s brand and growth strategy into coordinated marketing activity across NSW, QLD, SA and ACT.

You will work closely with our creative team, business development leaders, sector and regional teams, project teams and external specialists to bring our brand, people and project stories to life.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and deliver an annual marketing plan and campaign calendar across priority markets and audiences.

  • Lead integrated B2B campaigns across paid, owned, earned and relationship channels.

  • Manage digital campaigns across LinkedIn, paid social, search, audience targeting and retargeting.

  • Drive website performance, SEO, landing pages, content and customer journeys.

  • Develop CRM, segmentation and marketing automation initiatives to improve engagement and follow-up.

  • Turn major construction projects, client relationships, technical expertise and project milestones into compelling content and campaigns.

  • Work with our creative and PR partners to amplify Paynter Dixon’s stories and market presence.

  • Support targeted events and activations that strengthen relationships with clients and key decision makers.

  • Use data and insights to measure campaign performance, identify opportunities and continuously improve marketing investment.

  • Partner with Business Development to create practical marketing tools, project case studies, proof points and resources that support our teams in winning and retaining business.

  • Support brand research and tracking to understand awareness, familiarity, perception and consideration in our priority markets.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a marketer who combines commercial thinking, creativity and strong digital capability.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience managing B2B marketing campaigns from planning through to execution and reporting.

  • Experience working in construction, property, professional services or another relationship-led, long-cycle industry.

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of paid social, search, SEO, website analytics, CRM and marketing automation.

  • Experience managing agencies, budgets, timelines and multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn performance data into practical recommendations.

  • Excellent writing and editorial skills, with the confidence to work with senior leaders, technical specialists and business development teams.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture.

  • A commercially focused mindset and an understanding that brand activity needs to support long-term business outcomes.

Why Paynter Dixon?

At Paynter Dixon, our projects, people and relationships are at the heart of our brand.

You will join a well-established Australian construction business where marketing has a genuine opportunity to influence how we connect with clients, showcase our capabilities and support future growth.

This is not a role where you will simply manage social media calendars or coordinate campaigns. You will have the opportunity to shape the story of the Paynter Dixon brand, work closely with senior stakeholders and turn some of Australia’s most interesting construction projects into powerful market-facing stories.

If you are a commercially minded B2B marketer who enjoys working in a complex, relationship-driven environment and wants to see your work make a tangible difference, we would love to hear from you.
