Rydges World Square in Sydney's CBD is seeking a Marketing Executive to lead day‑to‑day activity across accommodation, F&B, and events, aligning campaigns with revenue goals while upholding EVT and Rydges brand guidelines.

You will create engaging content, manage social channels, build local partnerships, and prepare monthly marketing reports, collaborating with Sales and Operations in a fast‑paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, social media or content roles, ideally within hospitality or travel.
• Strong content creation and storytelling capabilities across photography, video and copywriting.
• Comfort with analytics, reporting and deriving action from data.
• Ability to build relationships with local partners, venues and tourism partners.

About the Role

As our Marketing Executive, you'll lead the hotel's day-to-day marketing activity, driving awareness, engagement and revenue across accommodation, food & beverage, and meetings & events. Reporting to the Director of Sales / General Manager, you'll work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to make sure every campaign, post and partnership supports our revenue goals and stays true to the Rydges and EVT brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the hotel's social media channels and run a content calendar aligned to commercial priorities and hotel initiatives
• Create engaging content including photography, videography, reels, stories and copy, coordinating shoots across guestrooms, food & beverage outlets and meetings & events spaces
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, event organisers, tourism partners and community organisations, including sponsorships, influencer visits and media stays
• Partner with Sales and Revenue to promote need periods, packages and key offers, developing collateral such as fact sheets, flyers and presentations
• Ensure all marketing activity, imagery and online content meets EVT and Rydges brand guidelines, while monitoring online reputation channels and escalating where needed
• Prepare monthly marketing reports, track competitor activity and market trends, and recommend ways to lift visibility, engagement and revenue

What You'll Bring

• Experience in a marketing, social media or content role, ideally within hospitality, travel or tourism
• Strong photography, videography and content creation skills, with confidence across social platforms including Instagram and TikTok
• Excellent written communication and an eye for brand detail
• Ability to build relationships with local partners, venues and community organisations
• Analytical mindset, comfortable reporting on performance and turning insights into action
• Organised and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
