Job summary

Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure (DTMI) seeks a Commercial Property Manager (Level 6) based in Perth to lead maritime leasing across Western Australia. You will supervise property managers, manage leases and subleases, and provide specialist leasing advice for a diverse maritime asset portfolio.

The role requires strong negotiation, budgeting and stakeholder engagement skills, with a view to shaping future regional and metropolitan marine facilities.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in commercial property and leasing management.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to negotiate leasing outcomes.
• Experience in financial management and budgeting.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience handling complex property management and leasing matters.
• Collaborative working style to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maritime commercial leasing activities across Western Australia.
• Lead oversight of commercial property managers and lease/sublease arrangements.
• Provide specialist leasing advice on a diverse portfolio of maritime assets.
• Negotiate leasing outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to property strategies, budgeting and reporting activities.
• Support delivery of effective leasing and commercial property outcomes.
• Influence future management of regional and metropolitan marine facilities.
