Captain Cook Cruises, part of Journey Beyond, is seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth daily marine operations on the Swan River in Perth. You will coordinate vessel movements, schedules and crew rostering while liaising with port authorities and partners to uphold safety and service standards.

Applicants with administration, logistics or marine operations experience will be well suited, with a willingness to work weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Competenze

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules, rosters and competing priorities.
• Experience in administration, logistics or shipping/marine operations is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of the tourism or marine industry is highly regarded.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

Mansioni

• Coordinate vessel schedules, crew rosters and daily operational activities.
• Monitor weather, tides and operational changes, adjusting schedules as required.
• Communicate timetable updates and operational issues to key stakeholders.
• Liaise with vessel crews, managers, port authorities and external partners.
• Coordinate crew training, inductions, qualifications and compliance records.
• Provide operational support and contribute to safe, efficient service delivery.
• Maintain a strong focus on health, safety and regulatory compliance.
