Captain Cook Cruises, part of Journey Beyond, is seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure smooth daily marine operations on Perth's Swan River. You will coordinate vessel movements, schedules and crew rostering, liaise with crews, managers, authorities and partners, and support workforce planning.

In this fast-paced role you will monitor weather and tides, update stakeholders, coordinate training and maintain compliance records, with a strong emphasis on health, safety and regulatory

Formación

• Strong organisational skills to manage schedules, rosters and priorities.
• Confident using scheduling, communication and record-keeping systems.
• Able to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing needs.
• Knowledge of the tourism or marine industry is highly regarded.
• Experience in administration, logistics, shipping or marine operations is highly regarded.
• Understanding of crew training requirements, inductions and compliance with policies is highly regarded.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods.

About You

As the Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of daily marine operations. You will coordinate vessel movements, monitor daily schedules, liaise with key stakeholders, and support workforce planning through staff rostering and activity coordination. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will help keep operations running safely, efficiently and on schedule.

To be successful in this position, you will be required to hold:

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules, rosters and competing priorities.
• Confident using scheduling, communication and record-keeping systems.
• Able to work calmly under pressure and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Knowledge of the tourism or marine industry is highly regarded.
• Experience in administration, logistics, shipping or marine operations is highly regarded.
• Understanding of crew training requirements, induction processes, and compliance with company policies is highly regarded.
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and school holiday periods.
