Job summary

Norship, part of the Varley Group, is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Cairns team and support a pipeline of marine, defence and heavy industry projects across Northern Australia.

Based at our 7-hectare waterfront facility in Cairns, you’ll work on defence vessels, commercial ships and large-scale industrial projects with a skilled team of tradespeople and specialists.

Qualifications

• Current Electrical Licence is required.
• CPR and LVR certification are mandatory.
• Construction White Card held at hire.
• Working at Heights certification is required.
• Confined Space Entry training is expected.
• Demonstrates a safety-first attitude and teamwork.
• Marine/defence exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join Cairns team to support marine, defence and heavy industry projects.
• Work from a waterfront facility, handling vessels and industrial assets.
• Collaborate with tradespeople to deliver on project pipelines.
