Job summary

Austcorp Executive in Sydney is seeking an Electrician to move from generic maintenance to defence-grade, mission-critical naval and marine systems across vessels, port facilities and commercial sites.

You will install, test and maintain electrical systems, with switchboard upgrades and support for chilled water, UPS and data-room cooling, working with an experienced team and opportunities for training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Electrical Licence (NSW) required or able to obtain.
• Commercial, industrial or marine electrical background.
• Eligible for Defence security clearance and MSIC.

Responsibilities

• Electrical installation, testing and fault-finding across marine and commercial assets.
• Switchboard upgrades and preventative maintenance.
• Support to chilled water, UPS and data room cooling systems.

This company are a specialist electrical, refrigeration and HVAC contractor delivering work across defence marine, commercial marine, industrial and commercial sectors. They are licensed electrical contractors in NSW, WA, QLD and SA, and operate from bases in Sydney, Perth and North Queensland, giving you the backing and job security of an established, multi-state business, alongside an experienced team who'll bring you up to speed on defence-grade standards.

In this role you will carry out electrical installation, testing, maintenance and switchboard upgrades across naval and commercial vessels, chilled water systems, and UPS and data room environments, working alongside experienced tradespeople who take real pride in the standard of work.

This role would suit an Electrician who wants higher-grade, more specialised work, a stronger sense of purpose in what they're maintaining, and a contractor that actually invests in developing its people rather than just filling rosters.

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set.
