Job summary

Reece in Pooraka is seeking a Manufacturing Assistant to support engineers and trades by assembling components and maintaining product quality while keeping the branch running smoothly.

This role offers training, potential forklift endorsement, and opportunities to develop your career across Australia and beyond within our fast-paced environment and branch network.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or retail sales in a fast-paced environment.
• Training will be provided.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
• Wants to develop their career within our network and head office.

About the role

As part of the team in Pooraka, you’ll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain essential services, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

Your day-to-day

A typical day will involve:

• Assemble components according to the specified standard and being responsible for the quality of all components produced
• Identify potential areas for efficiency and quality improvement
• Operate CNC table router presses & punches, saws and hand tools, stock control and admin tasks
• Helping keep the branch tidy and safe

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

• Has previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or even retail sales, and working in a fast-paced environment (training will be provided).
• Might not have experience in this space but is willing to learn and has a good attitude.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our network or head office.
