Job summary

Compass Education and Migration Pty Ltd in Hobart is seeking a full-time Mandarin-speaking Education Consultant and Registered Migration Agent assistant. You will support international students with education, applications, migration and visa processes, coordinating with providers and managing client files.

The role requires strong Mandarin and English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work with migration documentation and CRM systems to ensure timely, accurate guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Education Consultant or Registered Migration Agent assistant.
• Ability to keep up-to-date with changing legislation and policies.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional academic advice for international students.
• Communicate with education providers to follow up on student applications.
• Assist with student applications and enrolments.
• Assist students with visa applications.
• Support the Migration Agent in preparing documentation for visa applications.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate advice regarding visa options and related migration matters.
• Liaise with clients by phone, email, and in person.
• Gather visa documents from clients and follow up on applications.
• Maintain and update client files accurately within relevant systems and CRM platforms.
