Rio Tinto is seeking a Manager Transfer Pricing to provide high-quality transfer pricing advisory support across Rio Tinto’s global operations. You will work with regional tax teams and stakeholders to deliver robust, governance-aligned outcomes.
Reporting to the General Manager Tax Global Advisory, you will lead cross-border TP advice, manage APAs/MAPs, monitor policy changes and ensure strong documentation and year-end processes while collaborating with a global transfer pricing team.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced transfer pricing professional with strong commercial acumen and who enjoys partnering with stakeholders across the business in multiple jurisdictions. You will work closely with regional tax teams, various internal and external stakeholders and the transfer pricing compliance team to deliver technically robust, commercially practical and governance-aligned outcomes.

You’ll be part of Rio Tinto’s Group Tax function, one of the most highly regarded in‑house tax teams in the resources sector. Based in Brisbane or Perth, you will work within a globally connected transfer pricing advisory team, collaborating closely with colleagues across Australia, Singapore, Canada, London, Argentina and the United States, while partnering with the transfer pricing compliance team to deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes across Rio Tinto’s global portfolio
