Job summary

Our Town Fencing in Derrimut, VIC, is seeking a Store Manager in Training to progress into leadership and ultimately run a store. If you're currently a 2IC, Team Leader, Supervisor, Department Manager or Coordinator, this is a genuine opportunity to develop leadership skills and learn all aspects of the business.

You'll gain hands-on experience across daily operations, drive sales, manage stock and relationships with customers, and be mentored by an experienced Store Manager.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in retail, trade, warehouse or customer service.
• Leadership experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, 2IC or similar.
• Strong people and communication skills.
• A passion for customer service and sales.
• Experience working towards KPIs and targets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with daily operations.
• Drive sales growth and achieve store targets.
• Building strong relationships with customers.
• Generating new business opportunities.
• Managing stock, inventory and order preparation.
• Assisting with warehouse and dispatch operations.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Manager in Training, you'll gain hands-on experience across all areas of the business, including:

• Supporting the Store Manager with daily operations

• Driving sales growth and achieving store targets

• Building strong relationships with customers

About You

You'll likely have:

• 2+ years' experience in retail, trade, warehouse or customer service environments

• Leadership experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor, 2IC or similar

• Strong people and communication skills

• A passion for customer service and sales

• Experience working towards KPIs and targets

• Good computer skills

• A hands-on approach and willingness to assist in warehouse operations

• Current driver's licence

Forklift licence highly regarded.
