Job summary

InterContinental Adelaide is seeking an In-room Dining (IRD) Manager to lead the food and beverage operations for In-room Dining, minibar and amenity functions. You will ensure quality service and personalised guest experiences while upholding brand standards.

With a strong focus on leadership, teamwork and guest satisfaction, you will drive operational performance, budgeting, and continuous improvements in a fast-paced 5-Star hotel environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Food & Beverage role with experience of at least 1 year in Leadership, in a 5-Star hotel environment preferred.
  • A Degree in Hotel or Hospitality Management will be highly regarded.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and team development.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, with a hands-on approach and keen eye for detail.
  • Impeccable personal presentation and a warm, professional demeanor.
  • Barista Training Highly regarded
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) + Food Safety Certification
  • Flexibility- night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job

  • Continuously seek guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the banquet experience.
