Job summary

NRMA is seeking a Manager Compliance, Controls & Ethics to lead the Group's second-line compliance, controls and ethics function across a diverse business portfolio. You will partner with senior leaders to embed risk-based decision making and strengthen governance and investigations.

The role is full-time and hybrid, based in Sydney with options to work from home as required. You’ll develop a high-performing team and influence key stakeholders while upholding NRMA’s values and member-first

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience across compliance, audit, governance, investigations, risk or related functions.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.
• Experience navigating regulated environments, ideally from member-based organisations, consumer services, tourism, mobility, or multi-business operations.
• Experience with governance frameworks, compliance programs or internal audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the Group Compliance Framework, including obligations management, controls, monitoring and assurance activities.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide practical compliance guidance, training and support.
• Analyse compliance data, identify emerging trends and provide meaningful insights to leaders and governance committees.
• Conduct and coordinate investigations, working closely with Legal and key stakeholders where required.
• Support and review internal audit activities and assist with audit governance processes.
• Lead and develop a small team while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused and high-performing culture.
