Job summary

Toyota Finance Australia is seeking a Compliance Manager to join its Risk Management team on a permanent, full‑time basis. This senior role, reporting to the Head of Compliance, will develop and oversee governance frameworks, processes and controls across the organisation to strengthen risk and compliance practices while enabling sustainable growth.

The position can be based at Grosvenor Place, Sydney or Scoresby, Melbourne, with flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead compliance, risk and regulatory programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of the organisation's compliance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and industry best practice.
• Provide expert compliance and regulatory advice to senior leaders and business stakeholders, supporting sound decision‑making and risk management across the organisation.
• Oversee monitoring, assessment and remediation of compliance risks, incidents and regulatory breaches, driving timely and sustainable outcomes.
• Manage and mentor a high‑performing compliance team, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business leaders on regulatory change initiatives, embedding new requirements into processes and operations.
• Prepare and present insightful compliance reports and recommendations to Executive leadership, Board committees and stakeholders.
