Job summary

360 Partners in Melbourne, Australia, seeks a Manager, Business Services and Tax Advisory to join the management team and help deliver first-class client outcomes. You will play a key leadership role in shaping the future of the firm and benefit from its growth.

You will lead the business services and tax advisory team, managing staff, reviewing technical work, and providing expert advice on tax strategy, financial reporting and advisory projects, including AI-enabled processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' current experience managing team members in a business services public practice tax environment.
• Preferably 7-8 years of total public practice experience.
• Strong understanding of the Australian taxation system.
• CA or CPA credential with undergraduate degree.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Confidence with cloud accounting and business tools (Xero/MYOB/QuickBooks).
• Genuine interest in technology, AI, innovation and improving how work gets done.
• Desire to mentor others and help build a high-performing team.
• Australian work rights are required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Managing and developing team members, including workflow, budgets, mentoring, training and technical support.
• Reviewing technical work completed by the team and ensuring high-quality client outcomes.

What you'll do

You will play a key leadership role in the business services and tax advisory team.

You will be involved in:

• Managing and developing team members, including workflow, budgets, mentoring, training and technical support.

• Reviewing technical work completed by the team and ensuring high-quality client outcomes.

What you'll bring

We are looking for someone who is driven, commercially minded, technically strong and motivated to lead.

The successful candidate will have:

• 2 + years' current experience managing team members in a business services public practice tax environment.

• Preferably 7-8 years of total public practice experience.

• A strong understanding of the Australian taxation system.

• Completed CA or CPA (with appropriate undergraduate degree).

• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

• Confidence with cloud accounting and business tools, including Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks etc

• A genuine interest in technology, AI, innovation and improving how work gets done.

• A desire to mentor others and help build a high-performing team.

• Aspirations to develop broader advisory, leadership and commercial skills.

• Australian work rights are required for this position.

Additional qualifications or expertise will be looked upon favourably, including IT skills, sales capability, marketing experience, specialist tax skills or SMSF experience.
