At Accura, our core focus is relationship-based tax, business and advisory services for Perth-based family businesses, enterprises and family offices. Our purpose is simple: taking care of you and your family, by combining technical depth with long-term advice that supports both the business and the people behind it.
Are you an experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Accountant looking for the next step in your career?
At Accura Accounting & Advisory, we’re looking for someone who wants to build more than a client portfolio. We’re looking for someone who can help us become the family advisers of choice for Perth-based family businesses, enterprises and family offices, someone who values long‑term relationships, practical advice and genuine care for the people behind the numbers.
You’ll work closely with our Directors, take ownership of complex tax and advisory matters, develop trusted client relationships and help clients make well‑considered decisions for their business, their family and their future.
This is an opportunity for someone who is ambitious, commercially minded and ready to move beyond the traditional Tax Manager role, while showing genuine care, thinking beyond the immediate task, acting professionally and working well with clients, Directors and the wider team.
The way you work matters as much as the work itself. We care about our clients and each other, we think beyond the immediate problem, we are professional and genuine in how we communicate, and we work together to deliver advice clients can rely on.
You’ll work across a diverse portfolio of Perth‑based family businesses, enterprises and family offices, providing high‑level taxation and advisory support while developing your leadership and commercial skills.
Our proven process is simple but deliberate: discovery to understand the client’s world, engagement to tailor the right solution, onboarding to set strong foundations, and an ongoing journey of planning, compliance, review and refinement. The right person will help deliver that process with consistency, care and commercial judgement.
Provide proactive tax planning, structuring and advisory across a diverse client base, including identifying issues early and helping clients understand their practical next step.
Advise clients on significant transactions, business decisions and life events.
Research and resolve complex tax issues and provide practical, commercial solutions.
Work closely with Directors on complex client matters and technical issues.
Build trusted relationships with clients by being available, responsive and clear, including keeping clients informed about where matters stand and giving practical recommendations they can act on.
Manage and deliver work across a portfolio of clients and Directors.
Review work and provide technical guidance to the wider team.
Mentor, coach and develop junior and intermediate accountants.
Contribute to improving our tax processes, systems and service offering.
Develop your commercial and leadership capability in preparation for a future Equity Partnership role.
We want to be clear about the opportunity from day one.
For the right candidate, Accura offers a structured 2–3 year pathway towards Equity Partnership, based on performance, leadership, client development and contribution to the growth of the firm.
You'll have the opportunity to:
Year 1: Build your client portfolio, establish yourself within the leadership team and deepen your technical and commercial contribution.
Year 2: Take greater ownership of client relationships, business development and team leadership while working towards partnership readiness.
Year 2–3: Progress towards Equity Partnership, with the opportunity to have a genuine stake in the future growth and success of Accura.
This is not an open‑ended promise of "potential progression". We want to have a clear conversation with the successful candidate about what partnership looks like and what needs to be achieved to get there.
You’ll be a technically strong and commercially minded tax professional who is ready to take the next step.
Ideally, you’ll have:
8+ years’ experience in an Australian public practice accounting environment.
Strong experience dealing with complex tax matters and SME clients.
Experience across tax planning, structuring and advisory.
Experience managing, mentoring and developing team members.
Completed CA or CPA.
Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and Directors.
A practical, solutions-focused approach.
An ambition to progress into leadership and ultimately ownership.
A genuine opportunity to become an owner
We’re offering more than a salary and a title. For the right person, this role can be the beginning of your journey towards Equity Partnership within 2–3 years.
