Job summary

City of Moonee Valley is seeking a part-time Digital Learning and Programs Librarian to design and deliver digital learning experiences for our diverse community in Melbourne. The role includes developing Makerspace programs, lending collections, and supervising customer service shifts to ensure smooth daily operations across library sites.

You will bring a library science qualification, strong digital literacy skills, and the ability to engage with community partners to expand learning

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in library and information science acceptable for professional membership of ALIA.
• Experience delivering learning programs for the public.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate a range of digital learning programs.
• Lead Makerspace technology programs and lending collections.
• Identify emerging trends and gaps in digital learning, and create creative programs.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver programs.
• Provide digital literacy support to library users, including use of online resources and devices.
• Provide leadership and supervision as shifts supervisor and support staff.
