Job summary

Brimbank Libraries is seeking a Library Systems and Emerging Technology Coordinator to lead the CIT, Maker Space and Digital Literacy teams. The role manages the digital library environment, KOHA (LMS), and operational systems to deliver the library’s technology-enabled services.

You will drive continuous improvement and innovation across Brimbank Libraries, aligning with community needs and ensuring inclusive access to digital services.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in library services or information management.
• Leadership and financial management experience.
• Willingness to be on call across library opening hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Working with Children Check and Police check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Library Community Information Technology (CIT) team, Maker Space and Digital Literacy teams.
• Manage delivery of the Library Systems & Emerging Technologies Business Plan and operational systems.
• Oversee the digital library environment, including the library website, and provide usage statistics.
