Watermark Constructions is seeking an experienced Make Safe and Restoration Team Leader to coordinate emergency make safe and restoration work on insurance repair projects across Queensland. You will lead Make Safe Officers, Restoration Technicians and subcontractors to deliver safe, dry and ready-for-repair outcomes from first visit through handover.

You will plan responses, oversee moisture mapping, drying checks, approve scopes and costs, and coach crews to high safety and service standards

Competenze

• Experience in insurance repairs, restoration or emergency building works.
• Track record leading field teams and subcontractors.
• Sound knowledge of drying, water categories and moisture detection.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS), including working at heights, asbestos and contamination.
• Calm, customer‑focused communication with distressed customers.
• Construction White Card and a driver's license.

When a storm, flood, fire or burst pipe hits, our customers are having one of the worst days of their lives. We are seeking an experienced, Make Safe and Restoration Team Leader, to coordinate the return of our customers' homes to safe, dry and ready for repair, in an efficient, calm and expert manner.

About the Role

You will coordinate our emergency make safe and restoration team from first visit through mitigation and drying, to a clean handover for repairs. You will lead Make Safe Officers, Restoration Technicians and subcontractors, and be the main contact for our insurance clients.

Highly regarded: a trade qualification (e.g., carpentry), a Cert IV in Building & Construction, and IICRC restoration certificates such as WRT (water damage) and ASD (structural drying).
