Job summary

Evolution Precast is seeking an experienced Major Projects - Project Manager to lead a flagship data centre project from production planning through to despatch, and on-site installation where applicable.

You will report to the General Manager - Major Projects, own the global project program, coordinate across multiple facilities, manage subcontract administration and commercial risk, and build strong relationships with the Tier 1 head contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil or commercial construction, ideally Tier 1 or Tier 2.
• Experience delivering against contractual milestones on major projects (data centre, industrial or commercial).
• Proficient in project scheduling and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the global manufacturing and delivery program, ensuring alignment with head contract milestones.
• Coordinate production scheduling across Evolution Precast facilities to meet delivery sequences.
• Administer the precast subcontract including notices, variations, claims and milestone certification.
• Monitor project cost performance and report to the General Manager - Major Projects.
• Where in scope, project manage on site installation from mobilisation through to completion.
• Act as the primary contact and build strong relationships with the Tier 1 builder's project team.
• Build and lead the project team and, where installation is in scope, the full site-based team.
• Champion safety and quality across manufacturing and site activities.

We are seeking an experienced Major Projects - Project Manager to lead the full delivery lifecycle of a flagship data centre project, from production planning through to despatch and, where in scope, on site installation.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager - Major Projects, you will be the primary point of contact for the project builder on all manufacture and delivery matters. You will own the global project program, coordinate production across multiple manufacturing facilities, administer the subcontract and manage commercial risk, and build a strong working relationship with the Tier 1 head contractor.

About You

You are a commercially sharp, operationally organised Project Manager with a civil or commercial construction background who thrives in complex, fast moving environments. You build strong relationships with Tier 1 contractors, protect your organisation's commercial position and lead teams with clarity and accountability.

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated Project Manager experience in civil or commercial construction, ideally Tier 1 or Tier 2 environments
• Experience managing delivery against contractual milestones on major projects, ideally including data centre, industrial or commercial construction
• Sound understanding of precast concrete manufacturing and/or structural installation
• Contract administration skills including subcontract management, claims and variations
• Proficient in MS Project or similar scheduling tools

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Current White Card and driver's licence
