Job summary

KONE in Newcastle is seeking a Maintenance Troubleshooter to join our Service team across Newcastle, Central Coast and Northern NSW. You will diagnose and resolve complex lift and escalator faults, perform first visits, and provide remote or onsite support to keep critical systems running safely.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues while sharing knowledge across the business.
• Perform first visits and assessments of new equipment as required by supervisors or sales teams.
• Provide remote assistance and onsite support to resolve complex call-outs and technical issues.
• Enhance the technical capability of Maintenance Technicians by identifying root causes and solutions.
• Ensure activities comply with KONE policies including health, safety and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional and responsive service.
• Provide specialist support across Newcastle, Central Coast and Northern NSW with travel to Coffs Harbour and Armidale as needed.

We’re looking for a Maintenance Troubleshooter to join our high performing Service team in Newcastle, reporting into our Branch Manager. The successful candidate will provide specialist technical support across Newcastle, Central Coast and Northern NSW.

What will you be doing?

Providing technical support to the maintenance team by diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues, while sharing technical knowledge across the business.

Performing first visits and assessments of new equipment when required by supervisors or sales teams.

Supporting the resolution of complex call-outs and technical issues by providing remote assistance and onsite support when required.

Enhancing the technical capability of Maintenance Technicians by identifying root causes and explaining effective solutions.

Ensuring all activities are carried out in accordance with KONE policies and procedures, including health, safety and quality standards.

Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through professional and responsive service.

Providing specialist support across Newcastle, Central Coast and Northern NSW, including regular travel to Coffs Harbour and Armidale to assist technicians with complex troubleshooting and critical breakdowns.

What are we looking for?

Lift industry experience required.

Current NSW Electrical Licence.
