Job summary

KONE is seeking two Maintenance Technician to support our Service team in Melbourne. You will service and maintain elevators, escalators and auto walks, spanning from low-rise housing to skyscrapers, in a full-time, autonomous environment with supportive leadership.

You will work in a role that emphasizes safety, quality, and customer relations, with opportunities for after-hours work and flexible scheduling as required.

Qualifications

• Registered electrical licence is required.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair equipment failures.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Attend to maintenance activities and repairs on elevators and escalators.
• Respond to breakdowns and restore service promptly.
• Follow KONE policies and safety standards at all times.
• Maintain good customer relationships in the local region.
• Flexibility to start/finish at varying times and work after-hours as needed.

We are looking to fill two Maintenance Technician roles in our high performing Service team in Melbourne. You will be providing servicing and maintenance of KONE’s elevator, auto walks and escalators, across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.

This is a full-time opportunity, offering an autonomous environment, with a variety, stability, with support from the wider business.

What will you be doing?

• - Attending to maintenance activities and repairs
• - Attending breakdowns on Elevators and Escalators
• - Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards
• - Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region
• - An ability to start/finish at flexible times and work after-hours as required

What are we looking for?

• - Registered electrical licence required
• - Valid full Australian drivers licence
• - Experiencing managing critical breakdowns and key stakeholder’s expectations
• - Motivated and self- starter who can manage workload and competing priorities
• - Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
