Job summary

Join KONE's Newcastle team as an Installer, contributing to installing and modernising lift equipment across a variety of projects in the Newcastle and Central Coast region. You’ll work on everything from smaller installations to major developments, prioritising safety and quality on site.

We welcome qualified electricians and trades professionals, with a focus on teamwork, problem-solving and strong communication. Regional travel may be required to support projects and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrical licence preferred, open to plumbers, carpenters, mechanics or other trades.
• Lift industry experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install and modernise lift equipment across a range of projects.
• Work on small to major installations with on-site safety in mind.
• Manage installation activities safely and efficiently on site.
• Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Provide progress updates to supervisors and project teams.
• Ensure work aligns with KONE quality, safety and installation standards.
• Collaborate with installation, modernisation and construction teams.

With a significant pipeline of work secured across Newcastle, Central Coast and the wider region, we are growing our Installation team and are looking for a motivated Installer to join us. Whether you’re a qualified Electrician, experienced Plumber, Carpenter, Mechanic, or other trade-qualified professional, we’re looking for mechanically minded individuals to join our growing team.

What will you be doing?

• Installing and modernising lift equipment across a range of projects.
• Working on everything from smaller installations through to major developments.
• Managing installation activities safely and efficiently on site
• Maintaining strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Providing progress updates to supervisors and project teams.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with KONE's quality, safety and installation standards.
• Collaborating closely with installation, modernisation and construction teams.

What are we looking for?

• Qualified electrical licence preferred, open to a Plumbers, Carpenters, Mechanics or other trades.
