Job summary

KONE Doors Business in Melbourne, VIC, is seeking a mechanically minded Field Service Technician to service automatic doors, roller shutters and gates across low-rise housing to tall skyscrapers. You will carry out preventative maintenance, attend callouts and participate in installations, working safely and to KONE quality standards.

Applicants should have at least 3+ years hands-on maintenance or service experience, a full driver’s licence, and a customer‑facing mindset with strong

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ hands‑on experience in a maintenance or service position.
• Experience in the doors industry is an advantage, but not essential.
• Backgrounds in whitegoods, appliances, electronics, or similar service/repair roles are highly regarded.
• Full driver’s licence required.
• Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality.
• Customer service mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

No two days are the same as you manage the equipment and servicing of KONE’s automatic doors, roller shutters and gates across low-rise housing through to the world’s tallest skyscrapers.
