Job summary

Dematic, a global leader in automation and robotics, seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician for our Tamworth site (Regional NSW). You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment and troubleshoot faults in a 0–4°C cold storage environment.

Requirements include Certificate III Electrotechnology and an unrestricted Electrical Licence, strong mechanical aptitude, and good customer communication.

Qualifications

• Australian Trade Qualification - Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician.
• Unrestricted Electrical Licence (Australia).
• Experience in cool room / freezer environment preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience.
• Strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willing to be trained on MEX CMMS if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot faults in automated equipment.
• Work in cold storage environment (0-4°C).
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams.

Tasks and Qualifications: What We're Looking For:

• Australian Trade Qualification - Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician
• Unrestricted Electrical Licence (Australia)
• Someone who has no issues in working in a cool room / freezer environment
• Solid mechanical aptitude with previous maintenance experience
• Strong communication skills with customers and internal stakeholders
• Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems , automation , or MEX CMMS is a plus - but not essential (we'll train you)
• A technician who can think on their feet, enjoy problem solving, working with your hands and take ownership of your work
