Leading FMCG Manufacturing business in Sydney is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join the maintenance team and ensure plant and equipment operate safely, reliably and efficiently.

You will perform planned and breakdown maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a highly automated food production facility, working Monday to Friday 12:00pm – 8:00pm. PLC, sensors, motors and VSDs experience would be advantageous.

Formación

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter is required.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food production.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proactive approach to equipment issues with a safety focus.
• Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and production machinery is advantageous.

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading FMCG manufacturing business.

The Role

Working as part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring plant and equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently. You will carry out both planned and breakdown maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a highly automated food manufacturing facility.

About You

We would like candidates from a Mechanical background.
You will ideally have:

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter
• Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG or food production
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving equipment issues
• Strong commitment to safety and quality

Mechanical candidates: Experience with conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics and production machinery would be highly regarded.
Mechanical + Electrical candidates: PLC, sensors, motors, VSDs and automated machinery experience would be advantageous.
