Job summary

Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. You will support the day-to-day maintenance of the hotel, responding to requests and ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are well maintained.

The ideal candidate has experience in a similar hotel role, can work independently or in a team, and is flexible across shifts. HubOS experience is helpful, and on-the-job training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role/hotel environment preferred.
• Be self-motivated and able to work well individually and in a team.
• Have the ability to work a variety of shifts across the week.
• Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day maintenance requests via HubOS.
• Complete daily plant rounds and identify any equipment that appears faulty or requires repair.
• Liaise with relevant departments regarding works in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring out-of-order spaces are returned to service promptly.
• Accurately record all maintenance tasks (completed and outstanding), including repairs and preventative maintenance schedules.
