Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking a Maintenance Technician on a part-time basis to support the day-to-day hotel operations. You will respond to maintenance requests, inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, and help ensure everything runs smoothly for guests.

You should have prior hotel maintenance experience, be self-motivated, work well solo and in a team, handle shifts across the week, and be comfortable using a range of tools.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role/hotel environment preferred.
• Self-motivated and able to work well individually and in a team.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts across the week.
• Experience operating equipment, including small hand tools.

Responsabilités

• Assist with day-to-day maintenance requests via HubOS.
• Complete daily plant rounds and identify faulty or repairable equipment.
• Liaise with departments regarding works in guest rooms and public areas.
• Record maintenance tasks and preventative maintenance schedules.

Job Description

This role is ideal for someone experienced in a similar position who can confidently manage a wide range of maintenance tasks. You will support the day-to-day operation of the hotel by responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring our guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

What you will be doing:

• Assist with the day-to-day maintenance requests via HubOS
• Complete daily plant rounds and identify any equipment that appears faulty or requires repair
• Liaise with relevant departments regarding works in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring out-of-order spaces are returned to service promptly
• Accurately record all maintenance tasks (completed and outstanding), including repairs and preventative maintenance schedules

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role/hotel environment preferred
• Be self-motivated and able to work well individually and in a team
• Have the abilityto work a variety of shifts across the week
• Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including small hand tools
