Job summary

MacKellar Group in Nambour on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Maintenance Systems Officer to support asset management and the maintenance function across the asset lifecycle.

You will create and manage assets, preventative maintenance policies and standard work orders, relocate assets using site information systems, review policies for current configurations, monitor system users and training needs, and collaborate with Safety and Documentation teams to ensure compliance and continuous

• Completing electronic relocation of assets using site-based information systems
• Reviewing and updating maintenance policies to reflect current configurations
• Monitoring system users and identifying training requirements for the Business Improvement Manager
• Working with the Safety team to ensure maintenance strategies align with current legislative requirements
• Collaborating with the Maintenance Documentation team to maintain accurate information
• Conducting routine system health checks and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Providing support and coverage for the Senior Asset Coordinator during periods of leave

Your new role

As the Maintenance Systems Support Officer, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the accuracy, effectiveness and compliance of our asset and maintenance systems.

Working closely with the Maintenance, Safety and Documentation teams, you’ll be responsible for:

• Creating and managing assets, preventative maintenance policies and standard work orders across the asset lifecycle
• Completing electronic relocation of assets and components using site-based information systems
• Reviewing and updating existing and historical maintenance policies to reflect current, approved operational configurations
• Monitoring system users and identifying training requirements for the Business Improvement Manager
• Working with the Safety team to ensure maintenance strategies align with current legislative requirements
• Collaborating with the Maintenance Documentation team to maintain accurate and up-to-date information
• Conducting routine system health checks and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Providing support and coverage for the Senior Asset Coordinator during periods of leave
